The protest days against gas in Hamm have just begun, but we want to start thinking about what comes next. These protest days are important, but they are not the end point. To truly create change things, we need to stay active long-term and build a strong, international anti-gas movement here in Germany.
🤝 That's why we're launching an event tour together with Amalen! Amalen is an anti-gas activist from Malaysia, co-founder and Asia Coordinator of the Artivist Network.
We want to talk together, learn from each other, and build international networks. Amalen will report on the struggles against gas and fossil fuels in Southeast Asia and share strategies for creative activism in the face of repression - particularly relevant for us given the increasing rightward shift and intensifying repression in Germany.
We fight on all fronts against natural gas: at production, transport, combustion, financing, and political frameworks. 🛑⛽️

Die Protesttage gegen Gas in Hamm stehen erst am Anfang, doch wir denken schon jetzt an das, was danach kommt. Diese Tage sind wichtig, aber sie sind kein Endpunkt. Um wirklich etwas zu verändern, müssen wir langfristig aktiv bleiben und eine starke, internationale Anti-Gas-Bewegung in Deutschland aufbauen.
🤝 Deshalb starten wir gemeinsam mit Amalen eine Event-Tour! Amalen ist Anti-Gas-Aktivist aus Malaysia, Mitbegründer und Asien-Koordinator des Artivist Networks.
wir wollen gemeinsam reden, voneinander lernen und internationale Netzwerke knüpfen. Amalen berichtet von den Kämpfen gegen Gas und fossile Energien in Südostasien und teilt Strategien für kreativen Aktivismus im Angesicht von Repressionen - auch für uns besonders relevant angesichts des zunehmenden Rechtsrucks und der härter werdenden Repressionen in Deutschland.
Wir kämpfen an allen Fronten gegen Erdgas: bei Förderung, Transport, Verbrennung, Finanzierung und politischen Rahmenbedingungen. 🛑⛽️
